Writing West Midlands is the Literature Development Agency for the West Midlands. They currently manage Write On! (their writing education programme), the Birmingham Book Festival (their festival and year-round events programme) and The Writers' Toolkit (their writer-networking programme). Writing West Midlands are also developing other projects and initiatives with and for writers in the West Midlands, including Ears Wide Open, an audio commissioning programme being run jointly with Theatre Writing Partnership in the East Midlands.
